Silicone seals
Silicone seals come in many shapes and sizes. Silicone seals are often used in areas where high and/or very low temperatures occur. Examples are aircraft, trains, spacecraft and shipping; the excellent qualities of silicone seals are particularly important here because they include high resistance to extreme weather conditions. Silicone seals are also widely used in machine / equipment construction for the pharmaceutical and foodstuff industries.
Silicon seals are durable, ageing resistant / weather resistant / foodstuffs resistant / temperature resistant, environmentally friendly and are available in any colour.
Siltech has various grades of silicone in-house from which silicone seals can be made for a wide variety of applications, including:

Many silicone seals consist of an extruded silicone profile that is endlessly vulcanized. It may also be that the silicone seal is so complex that it is more efficient to produce it as a moulded part.

- Silicone extruded profiles can be made/vulcanized endlessly.
- For more complex silicone seals, a moulded part is made.
- Inflatable silicone seals for different applications.
