Silicone foam
Silicon Foam Rubber combines the individual properties of solid silicone rubber and foam rubber. Silicone foam products have very good insulation properties. Silicone foam products can be produced in many different shapes, including tubing, profiles and sheets. There is also the possibility to combine silicone foam parts with solid silicone rubber; this can be done by co-extrusion. Furthermore, different values can be adjusted as desired e.g. for a flame-retardant effect or for electrical insulation. With the possible material densities between 0.3 and 0.8 g/cm3, the high tolerances between the components can be compensated for. Thermal conductivity values are around 0.070 W x m-1 x K-1 , from the density of 0.4 g/cm3. At 0.6 g/cm3 this is around 0.100 W x m-1 x K-1.

- Windows and/or frames can also be vulcanized to each other

- Specific gravity between 0.35 - 0.80 g/cm3
